Therapeutic Approach
Psychotherapy is a collaborative and supportive process that offers individuals a space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in depth. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of individuals navigating a wide range of challenges—including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship issues, and career transitions.
My primary therapeutic orientation is psychoanalytic/psychodynamic therapy, which focuses on understanding how past experiences—especially from childhood—shape present thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviour. In our work together, we’ll explore internal conflicts, emotional expression, and recurring themes that may be influencing your current life. By bringing unconscious patterns into awareness, we open the door to healing and growth.
In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I also integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and person-centred therapy. This integrative approach allows me to adapt to your needs and goals as therapy progresses.
I strive to offer a warm, inclusive, and affirming space for everyone. Your story, identity, and lived experience are respected here.
I’m committed to ongoing learning and continually refining my practice based on feedback, research, and the evolving needs of those I work with. If you're considering therapy, I invite you to reach out—taking this step can be the beginning of meaningful change and personal growth.
